Navendu Bhushan is a master’s in engineering from IIT Delhi and presently working as General Manager – Projects in German MNC.

Overall more than 20 years of industrial project management experience, he has worked in various owner’s organization and handled various types of industrial projects, in India and abroad.

He was involved in setting up the Global R&D centre (LEED – GOLD) for BASF at Navi Mumbai. In this capacity, he led the project from front till successful commissioning.

Learning from HVAC design- Owner’s perspective for research centre case study

HVAC remains one of the major factors for improvement for Research & Development centre related with chemical industry. This session will focus on some of areas, which organizations can factor while designing their systems. Selection & MOC of hoods, concept of diversities, automation system of HVAC, heat loads etc. will be some of the parameters on which our learnings can help. Similarly, awareness of the risks associated with activities during execution particularly in Indian contracting scenarios is important. After operating the system for two continuous years, we are better equipped to compile our thoughts.
